Disability Benefits Now Available

New AWA Basic Assist membership levels include access to supplementary income in the event of an accident that results in a disability and prevents a member from working.

Your income covers the necessities, from mortgage and car payments to groceries and more, so it is important to take steps to protect it. Disability insurance was created to replace a portion of income lost due to the inability to earn a paycheck caused by injury. 1 in 4 of today’s 20-year-olds will become disabled before they retire and will need to take steps to protect their income.¹

As small business owners or entrepreneurs, we know AWA members are facing even more hardship when faced with an accident-related disability. When the unexpected hits, prepare yourself and your loved ones from the financial consequences with disability insurance. AWA Basic Assist can help to safeguard your future.

For more information or to add Basic Assist to your membership, contact (214) 436-8881.

Protect Your Family - New Term Life Benefits

AWA BasicGuard gives members access to valuable resources especially designed to assist during a time of loss.

No one can predict what the future will bring. That’s why having a safety net like life insurance can bring peace of mind for you and your loved ones. Life insurance can help protect those who depend on you after you are gone by providing financial resources for daily living expenses such as bills, debts and other needs, as well as future expenses like college.

As you review your estate’s liability, including taxes, legal costs and administrative fees, life insurance can be used as a planning tool to cover these areas. It is critical to cover both the primary breadwinner for the family, as well as those who are non-working or stay-at-home parents. Life insurance helps to maintain your household expenses and possibly avoid outsourcing child care after a loss.

Feel confident about protecting your family’s financial plan. Life insurance helps to provide you and your loved ones with a secure financial future.

For more information or to add term life benefits to your membership, contact (214) 436-8881.

Holiday Marketing Tips

Holidays can provide a significant boost in revenues for small business owners - as much as 15-25% of the annual revenue, according to Statista. Small business owners can expect that online shopping will be big this year, due to the ongoing pandemic.  If you haven't already set up a way for customers to order from you online, now is the time to set it up.

Use the following tips to help capitalize on the upcoming holiday season.

  • Create an online gift guide. This can be posted through social media channels and encouraged to share to help your customers find the right gift as efficiently as possible.
  • Provide a contest or giveaway through social media. By getting users to engage for a chance to win a prize, you can create maximum exposure.
  • Give your website or social media channels a holiday flair. Switch up banners, fonts and colors to get online shoppers in the mood for the holidays.
  • Make sure your website is mobile-friendly. A majority of shopping happens on mobile devices so make sure they get a user-friendly experience on your site.
  • Run gift card promotions. Last minute shoppers are known for picking up gift cards when they aren't sure what to get.
  • Create dedicated landing pages for special holiday promotions.

Your customers will have fewer choices during their shopping and will be searching for last minute solutions. Be sure to stay visible through social media, search engine advertising or through emails.
